The good news is that delivering amazement doesn’t require over the top customer experience, but instead relies on:

  • Consistency and predictably good service
  • Handling any issues that arise successfully by following a 5 stage process:
    • Acknowledge the issue
    • Apologize (even if it isn’t your fault)
    • Fix the problem
    • Have a great attitude with the customer
    • Have a sense of urgency
